  • Purpose & description
A leverage point within an organizational context refers to a small action with the potential for large consequences. Like a small lever that can move a large object, an organizational leverage point has a positional advantage because the action is strategically placed. The ability to identify leverage points creates the power to act effectively. Leverage points involve strategies that:
  1. A group has the skills and resources to implement
  2. Would have a positive ripple effect towards other successes
  3. Address a Critical situation
